How to submIt for our consideration

Step one:

For all models and actors. This is the first step. Do not go to step two until we tell you to!

You will need to send us a head shot and body shot photo and all your contact information. Please do these close up. We don’t need to see your whole back yard. Do not do these with a professional photographer. Snapshots will work. We will help you to find good photographers to work with if we choose you as one of our models.

If you are an actor you will also need to follow these steps:

You will need to send us a package with a VHS tape no longer than 3 minutes in length, a picture, resume and all your contact information.  The first thing on the tape should be a SLATE. All you have to do is state your name, age and where you live in a clear and up-beat manner. Make sure you look at the camera and that you are not swaying or fidgeting. Pretend that you are talking to your best friend and make it natural and fun.

The second thing is a COMMERCIAL. This portion should be anywhere between 15-30 seconds. You are selling a product so make it energetic and persuasive without being silly. You can take this from an actual commercial on TV or you can make it up yourself.

The third thing is a MONOLOGUE. You can choose a dramatic or a comedic piece of material. Your monologue should be no longer than 1 minute. If you are under the age of 10 all we require of you is 4 - 6 lines of dialogue. You can take this from a movie, book, play or you can write it yourself. Please pick something that is contemporary and age appropriate. Remember you need to become the character.

The last item on the tape is going to be an INTERVIEW. Tell us something about yourself and your life.  Make it interesting! Become a storyteller and keep our attention.

Tips for taping - Have talent seated and comfortable. Children should be engaging. Allow them to talk.  No more than three good questions that would get them to open up. Be sure your sound works and  we can hear them. Always review the tape before sending to be sure it is viewable quality. Always  rewind tape. Tapes will not be returned - if it is great - make a copy.

If you are a fashion model you will also need to send us these photos.  They can be either polaroid, 35 MM, or digital on a CD.

Tips for taking these pictures. Get close up (many times cameras put in extra background)  against a wall or blank background, have good lighting. In a two piece swim suit, pull hair back if long enough, stand facing forward, feet together. Take one head shot smiling, and one with no smile. Take a body shot from the front, both sides and back.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS MATERIAL SENT WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF NOTIFICATION . WE WILL REVIEW  THE MATERIAL AND GET BACK TO YOU WITHIN 4-6 WEEKS. IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT US YOU MAY DO SO THROUGH E-MAIL, HOWEVER, WE DON'T ALWAYS CHECK IT DAILY.
